President of the Sibley-Ocheyedan Education Association in 1997.

Chief Negotiator for S-OEA (1999-present)

1998 Awarded Don Taft Memorial Jr. High Coach of the year award at the Iowa Football State Championships.

In 1996 became Head Football coach at Sibley-Ocheyedan took that had the longest losing streak in Iowa and with in three years was 5-4

Greenfield 7th and 8th grade students placed in the top 10 at the annual AEA 14 Math Contest every year under my direction, 1984-1990.

Greenfield 7th graders placed 1st out of 22 schools two years in a row at the AEA 14 Math Contest 1989 and 1990.

Initiated and wrote curriculum for Advanced Math and Algebra class for 7th and 8th grade at Greenfield.

Initiated and supervised new weight programs at both Sibley and Greenfield.

Nominated for Southwest Iowa Coach of the year 3 times, 1986, 1987 and 1988

Voted Tall Corn Conference Wrestling Coach of the year, 1988 Nominated for Northwest Iowa Coach of the year in 1992, 2000 and 2003.

Coached 7 State Place Winners -- 26 State Qualifiers -- 58 District Qualifiers

Career dual meet record of 172 - 158 - 3

Implemented school wide discipline and assignment policy at Sibley-Ocheyedan middle school

Voted MVP as wrestler at Westmar College and Sibley H.S.  my senior year at both schools.

Westmar team captain for 3 years, 4 year letter winner, 4 time national qualifier, conference tournament MVP 1984 and All District 15 wrestler 2 years.
